Archival Boundaries: Constructing+ Reconstructing is an exploration on the act of documenting. As a response to the writing of an exclusionary history among Black and Brown diasporas, we are often left navigating subjective cultural landscapes as a means to reclaim authorship. This exhibition presents a culmination of visualized narratives tracing cultural memory, lived experience, and the process of human connection.
The work of Diana Calderon, Meli Nava, and R. Treshawn Williamson, overlap, coincide, and correspond with each other through notions of vulnerability, intention and discovery.
